The Simpsons continues to gain slight increases over previous weeks, with Springfield Up gathering 8.80 million viewers on Sunday. New episodes weren’t airing at this time last year, but for a comparison, “Pranksta Rap” in 2005 got 8.1 million viewers the same week. Last year’s March episodes were closing at around 9 million which is within arms reach.
The Simpsons came third in its slot aided by a lacklustre ‘Grease: You’re The One That I Want’ on NBC. King Of The Hill had 7.17 million, Family Guy had 8.48 million, and American Dad 7.04 million, all third in their respective slots, keeping FOX in third place overall for the night. Among adults, FOX was second behind ABC and in front of CBS.
