Our very last mention of Short’n’Fun today, I promise! The Simpsons Odyssey, as you may remember was redesigned last week. This week it’s becoming even bigger and better than ever. Yesterdays closure of Short’n’Fun was actually a merger with The Simpsons Odyssey. All content is now housed at this growing new site. Check it out.

In a sudden move, Short’n’Fun closed its doors today and will not be back. This move has come so suddenly and the only information we have is that posted at the site itself. In my mind it is likely that this site will be back under a more Simpson-friendly name. We’ll keep you posted if anything changes.

The Principal’s Office has moved to a new address and has become a subsidiary of Springfield Weekly.

Seems like every week I’m reporting about a new/redesigned Short’n’Fun subsidiary. Today a brand new site titled Absolutely Marge has opened its doors. It has a design you would expect from the owner, and the amount of content is great considering it just opened.

Bart Simpson Dedication is back as a subsidiary of Last Exit To Springfield. Make sure you update your links and bookmarks to stay up to date.

The Duff Brewery has a new design and URL. Looking pretty good. Check it.

Grizzled, a tribute to Jasper “the white bearded complainer at the retirement center” has opened today. Hosted by Springfield Weekly, the character site has an excellent design/color scheme and the content is likely to get better as time goes by. Check it out!

Due to hosting issues, Bart Simpson Dedication disappeared from the web today but it will be back shortly at a new URL.

Alt.Nerd.Obsessive is a new site dedicated to the Comic Book Guy. It is the newest subsidiary of Evergreen Terrace. With a superb main page design (interiors could use a little work) and a good amount of content, it’s the best CBG site since Bryan swept us off our feet with the Android’s Dungeon.

The Seymour Skinner Archive is back in the form of The Principal’s Office. While the design is a bit rough on the eyes it is still fairly decent.

Chief Clancy Wiggum has moved and has become a subsidiary of Short’N’Fun. To commemorate the move, the site has been given a new design. You can access it at the ShortNFun address or at ccwiggum.co.uk.

Simpsons Central has received a brand new design. The Belgian site opened about a month ago. The new look is much nicer than before.

The Simpsons Odyssey has received an awesome new facelift. The design is very smooth and the graphics are clean. The colour scheme is easy on the eyes, the site is layed out well. All that I like to see in a design. Great work.

The SOS Spingfield (Yes, Spingfield, or so the title says) has been given a nice new design. No complaints here, but please fix your clumsy typos before uploding a design.

The Simpsons Fanworks Central is back on the net with a nice brand new design. The purple, blue, and yellow colour scheme seems to work pretty well. Check out the site if you want to find Simpsons fan art as well as episode scripts.

Second Banana, a tribute to Sideshow Mel has opened. At the moment it doesn’t have a lot of content but I’m sure it will grow as time goes by. The design is fine for a character site.

The School Bus has been greatly miniaturized and completely redone. The old design was much better and more original in my opinion. This one is too plain and looks horribly small on large resolutions. Take a look.

J.Re*’s Simpsons Site has a new design. It’s pretty nice, and much better than what he had before. Take a look at this great overlooked Simpsons page.

Uncle Moe’s Family Feedbag is finally back online with an awesome new design with the same color scheme as before. The dedication to Moe also has a whole bunch of new content and should soon become one of the best character sites on the net.

HOMER is coming very soon. Minus three days ago.

Expanding on yesterdays story, Day Of The Jackanapes is offline due to hosting issues. The owner was told to remove all of the sites image content (including pictures on the design), sounds and movies. Since there is no legal issues with Fox to mention here, the site will return at a new host with its content.

Simpsons Land has been redesigned for the third time in the three months it has been open. It’s getting better, keep going.

The Simpsons Network has opened. This site comes from the owner of Duff Stadium which opened and closed in January. The site needs lots of tender love or the owner will close it again. The content is there and the design isn’t too bad.

Day Of The Jackanapes is currently offline. The site does not specify why, but I guess it will be back soon! The Simpsons Top 50 is also offline since its opening was rushed. The site will open in completed form this time.
