Homer Simpson will make an exclusive appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote The Simpsons Movie. Homer will show up during the opening monologue of the installment, which will air on Tuesday, July 24 at 11:35 p.m. (ET/PT). “I understand I’m doing a monologue,” claimed Homer in a statement about his thoughts on talking to Jay Leno on national television. “I hope it doesn’t involve talking.” Homer’s no stranger to the late night talk shows, having previously been animated in The Late Show with David Letterman.
