A total of 5.93 million viewers tuned in to watch last night’s new episode ‘Chief Of Hearts’. These figures are a slight improvement over what we’ve been seeing recently. Fox was last overall for the night in total viewers, as well as in the target 18 – 49 demographic. This is due to most of their lineup being reruns (The Simpsons and American Dad being the only exceptions). The Country Music Awards on CBS won the night, but probably didn’t take away much of Fox’s demographic.

Last night’s ‘American History X-Cellent’ saw a total of 5.65 million viewers tune in — a now average figure for the show, which places it as the fourth least watched episode in the show’s history. It bumps last week’s episode ‘The Greatest Story Ever D’ohed’ out of the bottom five.

Last night’s new episode ‘Postcards From The Wedge’ drew an audience of 5.23 million viewers – dangerously close to its all-time lowest figures. In fact, it had the third-lowest ratings on record.
