The Simpsons Top 50 is back online today, a day later than originally promised and it’s still not finished. In fact, it’s the most imcomplete thing I’ve ever seen. You shouldn’t set a date if you aren’t going to stick to it. The site has a new design which is looking a little bare at the moment, but nothing else has changed and the top 50 list isn’t even available for viewing. Looks like I’ll have to return in a week when the site may have content.

Short’n’Fun Gets Even Shorter’n’Funner
Short’n’Fun, the website that is filled with Simpsons goodies despite it’s title, has been redesigned today. The new design has the same kind of feel to it’s previous look since it has kept the same color scheme, but the design really has changed a fair bit.
A Lemon For Jebediah is the latest dedication to the founder of Springfield. It has an excellent design and some great content. Also following our previous update, Springfield SOS has been given a new color scheme. It looks a lot better.

Springfield Is Sending Out An SOS
A brand new site entitled Springfield SOS opened its doors a few days ago. The site appears to be off to a decent start and, of course, has plenty of room for improvement.
After it’s recent move to grampasimpson.com, the promising Springfield Indulgence has made a couple of graphic enhancements. The young website seems to be growing by the day.

SwO: Owners Call It Quits After 5 Years
The Simpsons World Order (or SwO.net as we’ve come to know it) has been offline for some time. Today the owners announced that the site would not return after five long years on the net. SwO.net was one of the few Simpsons sites still offering multimedia to it’s fans and the owners would like another site to take on their content. If you’re interested, view this thread.

Yelloworld Opens Doors To Italian Fans
Yelloworld is the latest Simpsons site for Italian fans of the show. After opening today it already has a stack of content including 250 pictures and 100+ sounds. I’m not Italian but from what I have seen the site looks good.
Save Family Guy! Fox has announced that the show has been cancelled. All support is appreciated.

Destination Changes. But It’s Still Springfield
Destination: Springfield has dropped it’s old design and color scheme today. The site has a brand new design which is both original and effective. It uses different shades of red, and DS seems to have pulled it off without any flaws. Excellent work!
SSK. What’s it stand for? I have no idea. But it has been redesigned, and quite nicely too. French fans of the show should check it out. The Springfield Files has been reopened with a new design and has moved to it’s own domain, teamhomer.net.

Burns Gets A Facial & TSHSS Ready For Halloween
The fairly young Serious Burns, dedicated to the one and only Montgomery C. Burns of SNPP, has been totally revamped and is looking better than ever. Be sure to check it out.
Also in the news, The Simpsons Halloween Special Site has returned to the ‘Net. The site’s owner promises a few changes will be made in the future.

Collecting Simpsons Follows The Trend
It’s been hosted at AOL for as long as I can remember, but now Collecting Simpsons has followed the crowd and moved to it’s own domain. The site is now located at bartfan.com. Bartfan was used in the site’s previous url, so it was an obvious choice.
Just D’oh It is now accessible at the previous url as well as it’s own .uk domain (justdohit.co.uk). Insert Caption Here is back online after a short absence. It is hosted on the duffgardens.net domain with Springfield Weekly.

Problems Resolved At Maggied.com
After getting off to a rather bad start to the year, The Springfield Message Board is back with a new board script and color scheme. If you were a member before, you’ll still have to sign up again. Your post count has been lost, I know, it’s the end of the world. Whatever will we do now. The changes come after similar problems at The No Homers Club.
A new Belgian Simpsons Site has opened titled Simpsons Central. It looks to have some good content and a nice design.

Springfield Indulgence Moves And Redesigns
Springfield Indulgence, previously hosted at drewit.com, has now moved to it’s new Simpsons-friendly domain “grampasimpson.com”. To celebrate the move, the site also has a nice new design which as usual is an improvement.
Been a while since I’ve updated the Switchboard article, but alas, I got sent a new editorial on the weekend. This one is a rant about popup ads on Simpsons websites. Read it and reply if you wish.

Things Are Changing At Springfield Weekly
Springfield Weekly has an awesome new yellow/purple design. It is a vast improvement over the designs the site has had previously. This is it’s fifth design since the opening. Along with the design change, the site is now hosted at the domain of ‘duffgardens.net’ by Smoovenet. If this site can get itself some more content it has the potential to become something great.

Keep Your Eye On Springfield
Eye On Springfield has been given it’s third redesign since it’s opening in June last year. The new design (which has been up for a week now, it seems) is similar to the last, keeping the same colour scheme and graphical headings and such. To top it all off, it has a very original navigation system. Check it out!
A new site has opened titled Springfield University. The site is in it’s preview stages and is no relation to the springfieldu.com of 1999 (the site that never was).
